Is It Too Soon To "Pull A Kwan"?
Because (1) I want to coin that phrase; and (b) What the HELL was I thinking?! A full sweater in 16 days?! With no additional time to devote to knitting?! And the wee Monkeygurl's "Opening Day" with softball?! Really? What *was* I thinking?!
Aurgh.

I haven't touched my needles since Christmas. I wish I lived close enough to do SnB with you guys!
When in doubt, change events. Perhaps you should pull out of the sweater event and enter the scarf or fingerless gloves event.
oooh, pulling a kwan! well, that means to me, going out with grace and style, though not remembered for a gold medal, and who the hell remembers all that stuff anyways? but, we always remember quality! knitting is for pleasure, not pressure! you're still a knitterly hero in my book ;)
